Sounds of Summer
Spend a tranquil summer day by the water, enjoying good food and music at Edenton’s Sounds of Summer music events. Each concert features a diverse array of talents and promises an unforgettable performance. Food and drink vendors open an hour before the show, so arrive early to secure the best seats and snacks. Check out the bands at Sounds of Summer.
Tip – take along a delicious picnic basket from Inner Banks Inn with two entrees, and a choice of sides. Just $25 for two people, order at the time of booking, or request from the innkeeper upon arrival.
Edenton Steamers
Escape mid-week and avoid the weekend traffic. Summer is the perfect time for a classic American ballgame, and the Edenton Steamers provide just that. Rated second in the Northeastern league, the Steamers deliver an exciting game at Historic Hicks Field. With games throughout the week, it’s a great way to wrap up your day on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
Clam Jam
A thrilling baseball game isn’t the only thing you can head to Historic Hicks Field to enjoy. The Steamers team also hosts an annual Clam Jam. This year’s event will be hosted on August 10th, and runs from 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm. You’ll be able to enjoy an evening of great food, drinks, and music. The Marshall Paul Band will kick things off at 7:00 pm, followed by Dawson Wright at 8:30 pm, and the Daniel Jordan Band at 9:00pm.
Chowan County Regional Fair
From September 24th to September 28th, the Chowan County Regional Fair offers a week of fun with rides, attractions, and the thrilling mechanical bull ride. Explore antique farm and train displays in the afternoon, and catch the High Flying Pages Thrill Show, the Globe of Death, or TJ Hill’s magic show in the evening. There are special deals available for each day of the festivities, so be sure to check the schedule of events for more information!
Edenton Farmers Market
